Preaching the Word in Season and Out

At North Lakeland Church of Christ, preaching is the centerpiece of our Sunday worship. Each week we open the Scriptures together, seeking to understand God's will for our lives and to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our minister, John Lewis, and our associate minister, Dominiek Brown, prayerfully prepare messages rooted in the Bible — verse by verse, chapter by chapter — so that the word of God may dwell richly among us.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God and the only authority for our faith and practice. Because of that conviction, our sermons are not opinion pieces or self-help talks; they are careful, reverent expositions of Scripture. Whether the text is a familiar parable from the gospels, a Psalm of praise, or a challenging passage from one of Paul's letters, our aim is always the same: to let the text speak, to apply it to our daily lives, and to point every heart toward the cross of Christ.

Sermons are delivered each Sunday morning during our worship service at 10:00 a.m. at 810 Norton Rd, Lakeland, FL. If you are unable to join us in person, we invite you to listen and follow along online. Every message is recorded and shared through our YouTube channel so that you can study at your own pace, revisit a passage that spoke to you, or share a lesson with a friend.
